The letter

Yesterday i was sick again, and feeling as horrid and i could feel. The only thought that kept coming to my mind was, i want to run back home and leave all this. I can't stay here, i can't bear this cold and i want the comfort of my home. I had almost decided to cancel my contract, come back and get on track. I slept feeling miserable, cranky and sore, not wanting to hear from anyone any more.
But when this morning i woke up, there was a mail in my inbox, from a friend whom i met here in France. She wrote in her own sweet way, just giving me courage to hold on, trying to make me see the bright spot in this dark. Her simple words, her caring advice, suddenly made me see all things bright. Thanks Alie for cheering me up and giving me that dose of confidence :)

good friends are always a blessing.

one small gesture from the heart gets you ten times the joy in reciprocation. so keep giving and getting.
